Exploring How to Sweeten Tea and Coffee Without Sugar
Hi Byte Wellness Fam!
Happy Women’s History Month! I’m so grateful you’re here making history with us today. By participating in our community and asking yourselves and your loved ones the hard questions, we’re re-framing what well-being looks like for Black women in the U.S.
That’s a huge deal for a group of people who have been pushed to the margins of society and healthcare systems for our entire existence in this country.
Think about it. Right now you’re shifting the health and wellness trajectory for you and your family. You’re ending multi-generational disease patterns.
Simply by starting to think critically about how our environment contributes to our risk of developing otherwise preventable chronic diseases and, then, creating wellness practices that counteract that risk , you’re showing your loved ones a new way of moving a new way of eating, a new way of resting, and a new way of thriving.
Together, we are cultivating a new brand of #BlackGirlMagic! And it’s stronger than we ever could have imagined.
If you haven’t gotten into the conversation, you can join our weekly #ByteWellnessWednesday workshops at 6pm CT every Wednesday.
[Did I mention they’re FREE in March!]
Speaking of our #ByteWellnessWednesday and #MakingWomensHistory, check out the recording from last week’s workshop. We break down the definitions of whole sugars, free sugars and added sugars. And, if you watch until the end there’s a demo on how to use high-quality sugars to sweeten tea and coffee.
Don’t forget to meditate on this week’s discussion questions below.
