How to Exercise Everyday: Exercise Assets and Accountability
Hi Byte Wellness Family,
We’re mowing down this #NewYearNewMovesChallenge! Today marks the beginning or our LAST WEEK! With just 1 minute of exercise a day, we’re setting ourselves up for a more active year!
If you haven’t joined the challenge, yet, it’s still not too late. Text 2022 to 1(224)302-6224 for daily workout reminders and inspiration via text message.
Since the challenge is open (and, did I mention, FREE), we’re sharing the weekly Byte Wellness Wednesday videos that help you work through any exercise hang-ups you might have.
Check out this week’s video below. We discuss exercise assets and incentives (the things that push you toward daily exercise), and how to make the most of them. Don’t forget to scroll below the video for our discussion questions.
This Week’s Discussion Questions:
Talking assets. What helps you stay on track exercising everyday
This is a question about two factors:
1) the ones that make it easier to exercise (assets)
like someone volunteering to watch the kids while you work out
OR having some workout space or equipment at home
2) the ones that reward you for working out and/or make it painful NOT to work out (Incentives)
like setting a weight loss goal, then seeing your weight drop with exercise
OR recruiting an accountability partner to ask whether you worked out
You can watch the video above to see how you can make the most of your exercise assets and incentives.
Comment below or in the video to let us know which assets and incentives you’re leveraging to finish this #NewYearNewMovesChallenge strong!
Happy Healthy Living,
Dr. Wuse
